About us:
We, Ben Verhoef and Susanne Lijmbach, have our tour agency well established in the village of Samaipata and its beautiful setting in the foothills of the Bolivian Andes.
In the surroundings of Samaipata we organize tours of one or more days, for example: to National Park Amboró, the Condor Hike, Bella Vista and many more.
We can arrange your transfer to Samaipata and your accommodation here as well.
We also specialise in longer, more economical tours to destinations further afield, such as:
- to Sucre via the splendid and varied old trade route (or vice versa: from Sucre to Samaipata or Santa Cruz);
- the famous Ché Guevara route;
- the Jesuit Missions.
And for the more ambitious; for individual or organized roundtrips and uniquely tailored tours through Bolivia you can contact us as well!!
It is our aim to show you as much as possible and to let you experience the "real" Bolivia.
We offer a range of services that we can take care of in combination with the tours and trekkings that we organize for you. In concrete terms this means that we for example can organize your pick-up from the airport in Santa Cruz or La Paz, but also your bus ticket from lets say Sucre to Potosí or your flight from La Paz to Rurrenabaque etcetera.
This gives you ease and safety. You don´t loose valuable time searching for tickets and you may rest assured that you have a seat in the bus or aeroplane on the date you have planned. It is convenient to deal with just one organization to address you to.
Of course we will "keep an eye on you" from a short distance during your travel through Bolivia to make sure everything works out well for you. If you have any questions you can easily reach us by phone once you´re in Bolivia. Then it will be practical that you can express yourself in English.
Because of our personal approach we can tailor the tours as much as possible to your preferences and liking for nature or culture, or a mix of both. Due to the fact that you're directly in contact with us, we can offer our tours of the best quality for a low price.
Many of the tours are conducted using our own 4x4 transport.
Some of the tours can be started from Santa Cruz if you wish.
We accompany the tours personally and we will make use of local guides if desirable or necessary.
